{"id":1880,"date":"2021-09-16T08:43:49","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T01:43:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eepseapartners.org\/?p=1880"},"modified":"2021-10-20T06:13:35","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T23:13:35","slug":"annual-conference-2021-call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/localhost\/eepsea-partnership\/annual-conference-2021-call-for-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Conference 2021 &#8211; Call for Papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Environmental Economics in Southeast Asia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Transdisciplinary Approaches Towards Sustainability &amp; Enhancing Quality of Life<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Organized by the Economy &amp; Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">01 \u2013 03 December 2021<\/p>\n<p>We cordially invite you to submit theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of environmental and natural resource economics to the 2021 Annual Conference of the Economy &amp; Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA) which will be virtually organized between December 01 and 03 in 2021.<\/p>\n<h1>The main theme<\/h1>\n<p>The Economy &amp; Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA) is calling for submission of research papers topics that apply the tools of economics and transdisciplinary approach in the analysis of policy-relevant environmental challenges and related issues in Southeast Asia in the following areas, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interdisciplinary approach for environmental and resource management<\/li>\n<li>Economics of climate change: Damage assessment and adaptation options<\/li>\n<li>Designing behavioral economics tools for green growth strategy: Greening forestry sector, renewable energy, greening consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Coastal and marine resources conservation for climate change resilience and poverty reduction<\/li>\n<li>Urban poor and the environment: Industrial pollution, ecosystem and human health impact, resilience, policy instruments and institutional changes.<\/li>\n<li>Green energy for sustainable development<\/li>\n<li>Environmental transboundary problems in Southeast Asia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Organizational arrangement<\/h1>\n<p>Participants will have an opportunity to discuss various transdisciplinary issues related to adaptation, mitigation, and strategies toward a greener, cleaner and inclusive development for Southeast Asia, including policy instruments, future scenarios, transition management, international cooperation and regime at this Annual Conference.<\/p>\n<p>Two prizes will be awarded at the end of the Conference: \u201cSustainability Prize\u201d for an expert researcher and \u201cGreen Prize\u201d for a young female researcher.<\/p>\n<p>While the COVID-19 pandemic prevents researchers to travel abroad, EEPSEA provides domestic travel sponsorship to the onsite venue for participants within countries which well-control the situation without lockdown or social distancing. For the other countries, you are invited to join the online meeting.<\/p>\n<h1>Guidelines for submission<\/h1>\n<p>Papers for the conference should be submitted via the online submission form at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eepseapartners.org\/annual-conference-2021\"><span style=\"background-color: #50b848;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"background-color: #00ccff;\">www.eepseapartners.org\/annual-conference-2021<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>Important dates<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>24 October 2021: Deadline for the manuscript submission<\/li>\n<li>01 November 2021: Notification of selected authors<\/li>\n<li>15 November 2021: Full\/working paper submission (if updated)<\/li>\n<li>01-03 December 2021: Conference dates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Contact and Participation<\/h1>\n<p>Participation in the virtual research conference is free and we encourage both presenters and non-presenters to register (when registration opens) and participate.
